PIgeons on l'edge

A comedic bird's eye view into the world of retail

This show is for anyone who has ever had a useless boss or a demanding customer, anyone who's ever been pushed to the edge by the 9-5, the 6-4 or the 2-11, anyone who just needs a good laugh after a crap day at work. Ignored, abused and unsupported - what happens when ordinary people go flying off the ledge into insanity?

Disclaimer: You could say some of this is a culmination and satirisation of many true stories. But we could never confirm that of course. Any resemblances to real persons or entities, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

audience REVIEWS*

One of Vault Festival 2020's staff picks of the week.

"Hilarious duo.

Contagious energy.

Unexpected plot development"

"A shot of pure joy, and I think is also secretly a brilliant work of metafiction"

"It's actually hilarious. And really fucking insightful.

I didn't necessarily expect a show with two people dressed as pigeons to have much to say outside of being absurd but this does. It's fully worth a watch.

Kinda just went into it expecting it to be jokes.

And it was jokes.

But it also clearly had shit to say about consumerism and patriarchy and plenty of other things. And that's why the jokes landed."

"So funny... If you've ever worked in retail

go see this show"

"Superb, self-aware, funny, energetic theatre in a time  when London's looking pretty bleak. This is the remedy you need!"

"Hilarious farsical play that will give you

a belly full of laughter."

"ACE!!!! Matt Baker would've been so proud"
